The Hotel at Kirkwood Community College

        In a stunning design OPN Architects specified, Jali® Mille glass panels to divide the space of the Class Act Restaurant, located inside Iowa Community College. The effect of light-filtering Jali is not simply to divide the space but paradoxically extend it by allowing the penetration and distribution of natural and ambient light. Scrambling of visual information leads to connectedness without seclusion. Other design elements including doors were created using panels inset into wood work.
