Hospital Check-in counters
Designed by Ewing Cole, PA, Jali Flight was used to create elegant, light-filtering privacy screens in the reception area of the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) Special Care Center. The ability of this material to transmit light while scrambling other visual input permits the definition of space and privacy while allowing and extending natural and ambient light.

“The intent of the space was to create a multi-layered effect from lighting the Sensitile panel. The designers aimed to have the acrylic material of the Sensitile panel "catch" the ambient lighting from the reception area and open office behind, for a soft luminous glow. Airport Lounges
“For the Delta Sky Clubs, our objective in specifying Sensitile was to signal the modernity, transparency and more premium image of the rebranding to customers. Completely different than the previous ‘Crown Room Clubs,’ the Sky Clubs aligned with other premium experiences that Delta’s business class customers were accustomed to, such as luxury hotels and restaurants. Light Emitting Materials
With a flick of a switch, transparent material is transformed instantaneously into a light emitting screen for privacy or to divide a space. Light confers color to the material and users are provided control, not only of the color but the quality of emitted light.
Corporate Offices
In this graceful Gensler design, freestanding light emitting dividers were used as space-defining elements in multiple floors. Material was specially developed for this project to allow for a minimalistic and “floating” installed appeal. The choice of material was guided by the brand’s core value to celebrate the beauty of energy efficiency, technology that is central to the design of this material. Lit with RGB LEDs, on the top and bottom edges, light emission was achieved over the entire 100” span of the panel from both surfaces, giving it the intended ethereal beauty.
Desk Partitions
The rapid shift from an open office to one where social distancing norms can be applied, inspired our newest collection of desk partitions. Our unique materials, that transmit and extend light into a space, allowed us to achieve beautiful and graceful designs.
