Video Projection
Our internally textured Resin and Glass materials make a unique canvas for projected waterscapes. Internal facets intensify the effect with reverberations of light and movement and, at the same time, create a pixelated effect that spreads beyond the area of projection.
Changes in the projected content can be used to achieve a diverse array of effects with the flick of a switch.
PIXA Wave
Back lighting or video projection transforms PIXA into a concrete screen. Light emitting windows, placed in a grid, can transfer projected imagery with remarkable accuracy, through the stone-like material to the viewing surface.
Light pillars of dimensional slabs form a secondary floating surface that captures the essence of water by abstraction. The heights of these pillars can be varied for a wave-like surface.
Material Inspiration
Organic patterns, complex aqua colors and the shimmer and shifts created by Light Manipulating Materials embody water. This powerful expression by itself may suffice for some designs.
Addressable Edge-Lighting
Edge-lighting when paired with Resin, Glass or Terrazzo Light Manipulating Materials allows for controlled, sophisticated effects that can be modulated for color, intensity and speed. Light terminals can be flush with the surface, or expressed.
Interlayers
Art and fabric add compelling dimensionality to the materials. Internal patterns pick up the color and texture of the Interlayers creating a joyful and harmonious whole. They can be specified to be concordant with other finishes in the space or to be their own distinctive feature.
